Couple Pics for You.

Today both Mom and Dad went to work so Karli and I are just kinda stuck with eachother. I know what some of you are thinking- yes, she's still alive, and no, neither of us has injured the other...yet. :) So far we've played some board games and watched a movie and seem to be getting along pretty well. (SHOCK!) Anyway, here's some pictures we just took of eachother:
The game she got for Christmas that she hasn't stopped playing since.

Merry Christmas!

Last weekend we celebrated Christmas here at the house with some of the family. Of course we missed not having everyone there, but it was still a great time. Cassie and Chris came over from Tennessee, and Bobum came all the way from San Angelo. It was a really fun-filled weekend and we hope everyone else's holiday goes just as well!

Disney On Ice

Today my youth group went to see Disney's High School Musical on ice! It was SO much fun! Last year we saw the princesses on ice show, and that was a blast too. I really hope we go to another next year, and hopefully Karli might be able to tag along too. :)

Congrats, John and Kara!

For those of you who haven't heard, John proposed to Kara last night. He had told her that they were going to eat dinner at Dad's hotel for her birthday (today), but really he was taking her to Roanoke, VA. She had no idea where they were headed once she figured out that they weren't on the way to the hotel. They arrived in Virginia and during dinner the waitor brought her a plate with a cover on it and removed the lid, revealing the ring. John said it went just as he had planned and was very special. So congratulations, Bubba!

Trip To Tennessee.

Last week we went to Pigeon Forge, TN. It was sooo much fun! Thursday night we went to a magic show, and the guy was AMAZING. We couldn't figure out a single thing he did! Friday we went shopping, which was also alot of fun. :) And Saturday, we went to Dollywood! It was an awesome weekend!

Here's the magic show. That's a tiger in the cage behind him.

Karli, taking a break from shopping to listen to my iPOD.

Here's Dollywood. They had it looking really nice for Christmas.

Happy Birthday Mom!

As you all know, Saturday was Mom's big day. We spent most of the day shopping then came home for some steak and spice cake. She got some very nice cards and I did the usual by decorating the house with signs. Hope you enjoyed your birthday, Mom!

hehehe... I decorated the cake!

We gave Mom a digital camera- it should be fun watching her try to figure it out. :)

Trunk Or Treat

Our church does this thing every Halloween called Trunk or Treat. It's when people decorate the trunks of their cars and go park in the church lot and all the kids visit the trunks and get candy. There's also games, a costume contest (Karli won most original- I would have entered, but I wanted to give the little kids a chance to win:), and hay rides. It's really fun, and it's one thing I'll always dress up for!

Karli was a princess...

...And I was a GANGSTER!!!

Trip To Williamsburg

Well, I know it took forever, but I finally have something new for you. Here's some pictures from our trip to historical Williamsburg. We went to Busch Gardens the next day, but I didn't bring my camera. : ( They were having their annual Howl-O-Scream fest, so at night there were all of these really freaky characters walking around. We went through the Never After, which is a series of three haunted houses in a row. I was already extremely jumpy, because all throughout the hour-long wait, the people dressed as monsters took pleasure in scaring me out of my wits. I clung to mom all through the first two haunted houses, but on the third she started to push me away. Dad and Karli walked behind us the whole time, and they both got a good kick out of it. :p I'm not going back without a friend.

October 3, 2007

Hey, everybody-
I've been itching to update the blog, but the sad truth is there's just nothing going on right now. It is spirit week so school has been a little bit more fun. Monday was pajama day, yesterday was gender-bender day (dress like the opposite sex, and yes, I did it! I wore boxers and sagged my jeans to just above my knees. I also had on a tie Dad let me borrow. The student body of Northwood High School was looking pretty interesting yesterday...). Today is twin day, me and my friend Kristi are both wearing matching Duke shirts, jeans and Sperries, with our hair pulled up the same way. Tomorrow is favorite college day, and of course I have a new Duke hoodie to wear! And then, green and gold day, which I also had to go shopping for. Ok, so maybe i didn't have to, but you know me... :)
Let's see... Karli. Not much going on with her, either. So far she's enjoying kindergarten from what I can tell. (She doesn't like to tell me about her day.) And she has a lot of fun going to our church for after-school. She's done a good job making new friends in both places, and I think she's really going to have a fun year.
John- Well, of course I don't have much new on him, I'll have to ask him what he'd like me to put on here. I can't do that right now, though, saying as I'm at school... I'm such a bad kid. Just kidding, I'm done with my work so I've got free use of the computer. :)
Mom and Dad- They're both doing good, Mom just got back from a two day trip to Memphis. I know what you're thinking, and don't worry- Dad did a pretty good job keeping us alive until she got back. :) They've planned a trip for the four of us to go to Busch Gardens next weekend, so that'll be fun.
And guess what?? Today's Bobum's birthday!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BOBUM!!!
Have a great birthday, I love you!

Well, bye for now. I have to go present my project(ughh).

Katie's 14th Birthday!

Monday was my 14th birthday! Dad got up around 5:30 to make me fried eggs and bacon, and when I came downstairs, he and Mom had hung about 50 little signs saying Happy Birthday. There was also a huge banner that they had had made hanging in the living room. Grandma and Grandpa are visiting, and they were nice enough to take me to Johnny Carino's for dinner and then we ate some delicious cake from the Washington Duke.

Here I am at 14...

I dont' have any good ones yet, but here are some random pictures of me from my camera I finally figured out how to upload. The problem is, I recently (and accidentally) deleted all the pictures on my camera, so these are just ones I took last night. I need some of other people! :)

Welcome to our Blog!

Hey everybody, it's Katie here, and I'll be the one posting all the latest news on our very own family blog! I'm very excited to finally have some kind of website, and I hope everyone visits often! I haven't figured out how to post pictures yet, so you're all just going to have to be a bit patient with me until I do. Until next time,
The Kolls Family.
