Merry Christmas!

Well, we certainly had a wonderful Christmas up here in Chapel Hill and hope that the rest of the family can say the same. Santa was very good to Karli and I got some pretty great presents myself- in fact, I'm typing this on my new laptop :). John and Kara came over Christmas Eve for church then came back in the morning to open presents. We watched home videos for a while and realized how much we miss getting to see everyone at Christmas.
I don't think we have anything special planned for the rest of break... just work and homework! I think we're all just looking forward to relaxing for a little while. We wish everyone a Happy New Year and hope to see you all soon!
It wouldn't be Christmas without my Santa hat....

Karli got an easy bake oven. I "can't wait" to try what she makes...

John and Kara gave Mom this pretty candle holder thing. She LOVES candles, so that was a great idea.

We didn't communicate enough with John and Kara, so Dad ended up receiving two deep fryers! Luckily the one from his girls is still in the store.

I gave Mom a necklace.

John gave Kara a watch, she gave him a coat.

As soon as I saw the return address on the box (Dell), I started freaking out.
"It's pink!!!"

Happy Birthday Mom!

This is a little late too, but here's some pics from Mom's birthday. John and Kara came over for steak and cake and we all had a good time.

Another late post. My birthday.

Well, it doesn't really matter that this is late because it was my birthday therefore I can post it whenever I want. I had a pretty good day, saying as school only took up half of it. At noon I went to get my permit (which was quite a process)... and passed with the lowest grade possible. That doesn't mean anything. I'm a good driver. Just don't listen to Mom and Dad. The speed limit is overrated in my opinion.
Just kidding. My turns are a little fast, that's all. We went to P.F. Chang's for dinner with John and Kara and that was about it. I'd like to thank everyone again for thinking of me, and as far as next year goes, I'll be 16... so a Chevy pick-up will be on the list. Just a heads-up.

Me and my permit!

First Day of School Pics... just a little late.

I know it's October, but these pictures were all on Mom's camera and I just haven't had the chance to download them yet. But I finally did last night because I wanted the Williamsburg ones, so here's the pics of me and Karli's first day of school.

First grader!

whooooo!! No longer a freshman!

Williamsburg/Busch Gardens

Last weekend my cousin Stephanie flew in for the three day weekend and we went to Williamsburg, VA. We went just us last year and had a blast at the Busch Gardens Hall-o-Scream fest and thought it would be fun to go back. The first day we visited colonial Williamsburg. They have people reenacting what it would be like to live back then, so that's interesting to see. On Sunday we spent the whole day at the park. At night they start their haunted stuff and the scary characters come out. I thought it would be better this year because I would have Stephanie to scream with, but she just laughed along with Mom and Dad. As they will tell you, the characters just seem to be drawn to me. Everywhere I turned, somebody or something was jumping out at me! Not to mention, they FOLLOWED me throughout the haunted walks! I mean they actually left their assigned spots to follow me while whispering in my ear! One scary lady who kept blowing on my head needed to learn to back off, she had me near hysterics... Of course they all left Karli alone...
I was a little hoarse in the morning, but we all had a lot of fun. I can't wait to go back!

Karli in her proper place... unfortuanately they let her out.

Labor Day Weekend.

Over Labor Day weekend we had Madison and Mason with us because Michelle was recovering from surgery (she's doing fine). On Saturday we went to the Duke football game (WHICH THEY WON!!!) and got to see Chris. We also met his girlfriend Katie, who is the new head coach's daughter. The next morning we headed over to the lake for the remainder of the weekend. It was nice to have a three-day break from a long first week of school.

Back to the Homeland.

I flew back with Kristin, Craig, and the girls to Texas when they left here. I spent about two weeks there on my own then Dad and Karli came and joined me. We drove to San Angelo and brought Ashleigh along, so we had a nice visit with everybody there. Then we came back to Kristin's for a few days. We drove around The Woodlands and saw my schools, the old house, and our church. It's amazing how much everything has changed (Shipley's was GONE!). I did get my fill of my favorite doughnuts while in Katy with Kristin. We had a really fun time and appreciate Kristin and Craig for everything they did.

We sure had a great time in their beautiful pool!!

Dad got Bobum a new TV while we were there. I think she'll enjoy it very much.

We got bored in the car. So we took pictures.

This is my favorite :)

Could she be any more adorable??

Steeley isn't the most patient little girl... but she's cute.
