What can I say, I'm a busy kid...

Sorry it's been so long. This thing kind of gets lost on my to-do list. We are all doing fine up here. It is finally starting to get warm so we've been enjoying being outside and hopefully will be enjoying the lake soon. John and Kara are busy with wedding planning and I stay occupied with school and clubs. I think Karli is just being 7 for the time being, not much new with her. She keeps us laughing with some of the things she says these days. Mom and Dad have been doing fine as well. Mom is just now getting over some terrible allergies, but she and I had a fantastic time shopping today while Kara took Karli to a movie and Dad and Bubba got some boy time. And right now we're all waiting on summer like everyone else. Can't wait to see you all!

Prom.

Sorry, I know it's been a while since I updated this thing. But I was told I better put these pictures up, so here they are! I was asked to prom by my friend Derrick who's a senior. We know each other through student council- he's student body president. We had a great time, he was a very good date. Unfortunately Mom couldn't be there, she was on a business trip she couldn't cancel. We were both pretty torn up about that. But Dad did a good job making sure everything got done alright. He picked me up early to go get my hair done, got the boutonniere, and took pictures. Kara also came over to help out. We went to his house after he picked me up so his parents could take pictures, then Applebees for dinner. The dance was a lot of fun and I can't wait for my next two!

Gettin the nails done...
And the hair. The lady did an excellent job achieving what I wanted.

Finished product.

Pretty corsage. Kara had to put on his boutonniere because I was afraid of stabbing him.

Snow Day!

Well, last week we got our first real snow fall since we've been in North Carolina. We got to miss school one day and had a two hour delay the next. It was pretty awesome. As you can see Karli and I made a few snowmen. Sadie was very confused, she's never seen snow before. I'll include a few pictures from the Duke game Ryan came up for. We really enjoyed getting to see him. Hope everyone's doing well.

Dad and Ryan are in the second row next to the guy in the light blue leaning forward, right by the band.

Merry Christmas!

Well, we certainly had a wonderful Christmas up here in Chapel Hill and hope that the rest of the family can say the same. Santa was very good to Karli and I got some pretty great presents myself- in fact, I'm typing this on my new laptop :). John and Kara came over Christmas Eve for church then came back in the morning to open presents. We watched home videos for a while and realized how much we miss getting to see everyone at Christmas.
I don't think we have anything special planned for the rest of break... just work and homework! I think we're all just looking forward to relaxing for a little while. We wish everyone a Happy New Year and hope to see you all soon!
It wouldn't be Christmas without my Santa hat....

Karli got an easy bake oven. I "can't wait" to try what she makes...

John and Kara gave Mom this pretty candle holder thing. She LOVES candles, so that was a great idea.

We didn't communicate enough with John and Kara, so Dad ended up receiving two deep fryers! Luckily the one from his girls is still in the store.

I gave Mom a necklace.

John gave Kara a watch, she gave him a coat.

As soon as I saw the return address on the box (Dell), I started freaking out.
"It's pink!!!"
